At the end of 2016, I was recruited to become digital editor at Voice of OC.

I joined the team at an exciting time: one week before the general election and two weeks before the inaugural Institute for Nonprofit News national fundraiser.

I was brought on to work across a variety of functions: to improve digital storytelling, UX for the website and online presences, marketing to grow audience and fundraising to build reader revenue support.

I developed a series of key performance indicators for each area of planned work and started by sketching out a work plan based on priority for each quarter.
