An infographic that I worked on in collaboration with reporter Nick Gerda was awarded first place in the OC Press Club awards contest. The graphic was embedded in the story “OC Sheriff vs. Health & Social Services.”
Judges noted: “The winner ultimately delivers a simple straightforward look at how health care and social services were very gradually deprioritized by public officials as public expenses shot up complements the story and helps the reader understand it better.”
